 Our Story

We at Three Little Birds Therapy PLLC believe in a holistic and integrative approach to your health, mental health, and wellbeing. This means that we are committed to helping you formulate a plan to shift your physical body, release and process trauma at the emotional and central nervous system level, realign your thinking and beliefs with your values, and take real action to change elements of your life that no longer serve you. We do this by using a variety of techniques and modalities designed to help you release pain, cope with stress, and find joy. 

 

So what can you expect? 

 

We begin by looking at your fundamental habits: eating, sleeping, socializing, and exercise.

 

We then address past traumas, stressors, and anxieties at the body/nervous system level with a somatic approach that helps to tame and re-regulate the Central Nervous System.

Next we treat the mind. We look at thought patterns, inner-criticisms, and self -limiting beliefs. We practice thought investigation, reframing, and seek to create new neuro-pathways for you to retrain your brain and encourage a "coach" versus "critic" voice.

We then look at habits and communication patterns holding you back in your relationships, work to help you utilize assertive communication, and set boundaries. 

 

Finally, we help you identify and create real actionable goals to strive towards in your life.

All along the way we teach/preach self-acceptance, self-compassion, vulnerability, and help you to recognize your own intuition, wisdom, and strength with the ultimate goal of deep self-love.

When this all becomes second nature for you we'll be sad to see you go, but will lovingly watch as you fly away.
