Hello,

My Story

Kelly is the Founder, Senior Partner, and a Clinician at Three Little Birds Therapy PLLC. Kelly became a licensed Social Worker and Psychotherapist in 2021 after graduating with a Masters Degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University and holds a variety of certifications including certifications in: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique and Thought Field Therapy. Kelly is also trained in Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Kelly became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in June of 2024 after three years of clinical practice.

Kelly has worked with children in schools and in private care settings for over 10 years. During this time she has worked in various mental health and caretaking roles, including conducting groups and individual work.

Kelly also enjoys working with adults and specializes in family work, adults with ADHD/ADD, self esteem and body image challenges, trauma recovery, and individuals who are differently abled.

Kelly believes strongly in contributing to the community and seeks to give back to her community through her work with local non-profits. Kelly previously served as the president of a local non-profit, the United Nations Association of Boulder County and prior to that the Internship Program Supervisor.

Kelly believes in a humanistic approach to therapy that values each individual for their inherent self-worth and wisdom. Kelly uses a largely non-authoritative style that works on guiding you towards your own truth through a series of open-ended questions, somatic and mindfulness based tools, and focused attention in a safe and accepting environment.
